All you Armchair Treasure Hunters who feel left out because you haven't discovered an ancient shipwreck or uncovered some buried treasure, fear not. There are many people who enjoy treasure hunting from the comfort of their own home via books or websites. Tell us about them, perhaps we can join you.

Yo Rockhound! Rebel here; Even tho, I live only @ 10 miles from da depositories (including "Beale") in Bedford County, Va., I'd rather let other "hounds" do da "dirty work". Wild Card had it right for da "super-depositoy"... you all don't wanna go up to Taylor Mountain... you might not make it back... that is why I'm a armchair treasure hunter. Not that I fear Taylor Mountain ppl... I'm just plain too lazy for that stuff... Long live da KGC!

THANK YOU...REBEL!!!
Finally... someone who lives in the 'alledged' region, agrees with me... that you're not going to drag (alledged) several thousand pounds of gold or silver... in iron pots... over the kind of terrain that is found there... even if the weather had been, as it is now... very mild. For those of you who can't be convinced any other way, and always claiming... "Yeah, its there alright! Wild Card is dead wrong!"... Why don't you go there--- get several large iron pots--- fill them with rocks--- and take them 'up a mountain'... or 'around to the other side of one'... or 'across a stream'... or 'through a wooded field.' See for yourself how many men it takes... what kind of shape they would have to be in... and how long it takes you to do it!!! And when you see the futility of such an undertaking... then you will see why... after only being there "once" and just looking over the terrain from the road... have I said consistently: "AIN'T NO WAY!!!" I doubt that even our finest 'military or rescue teams' could even achieve doing it. Come on, people... you've got to GET REAL about your thinking!!! Its just not there!!!

Let's see here ah Snow Hill Farm, Jefferson's lost gold strike, Fitzhugh Treasure and 7 lost Va. Pioneer Forts. Snow Hill Farm that's the one I was talking about Pirate William Kirk. I have his will all of his money was sent to his relatives. There may be a few scattered coins to find. Jefferson's Lost Gold Strikes------if that is referring to President Thomas Jefferson------why did he die broke his friends had to dish in to keep his possessions. I have not heard of the Fitzhugh treasure The 7 lost pioneer forts, there is nothing there to be found most never had troops quartered in them-----a very few. Just a place for settlers to gather during Indian Attacks. By the way those pioneer forts are not that much lost ------- it's just no one is looking for them. I found two of them but can't get the Virginia State Archeologist or University archeologist to check them out------it seems they have no funds.

Beale, Send me a PM with your mailing address and i'll be happy to send you the magazine for past favors no charge ha! Think you will enjoy it. Jefferson found gold along the Rappahannock River, wife died and he put it on the back burner so to speak.
