;D HA! Think about it... YOU, CLAUDINE, and P.V., ALL in the SAME ROOM; gonna be one heck of a RIOT! See ya, there... "Pricings" for CD's is/are GREAT! CASH, CHECK? Rebel, I am bringing four of my CD Books, "Lost Treasury Gold," "Confederate Treasure in Danville," "Tales of Treasure," and "Lost Diary of Thomas J. Beall" I am also going to bring all of my treasure books I have purchased over the years. Some of them are rare and hard to find. About six of them are written by Peter V., also books by Pauline Innis, Ed Easterling, Michael Steeley, Michael Paul Henson, Jameson, Mel Fisher, Dr. Eugene Lyons, James Williams and a host of other books----some on the civil war. I have three I am leaving home on the Civil War if I had room I would take them. Mostly going to sell all of my treasure books and the books I have written on CD. See you there. If you need any research books, you may want to be there. I have the Sea Divers Guide and others all going for $10. each some for $5. and some for $2. I hope to see everyone there. albert

;D Keep "track" of all that; got some "info" for you also. Made copy of pages from MONTVALE: 1754 - 1990; AREA FAMILIES BEFORE 1800 & SOME PROMINENT PERSONS OF THE MONVALE AREA. You can have it, if you want it. Will be there, before noon; sell what you can; WILL buy some of your CD BOOKS. My "sense" is... you are gonna have a "sell out".

Hi Rebel, The book sale did not go as planned. (We went to a gun fight with a knife.) ???Yea, they were the wrong people------they were looking for genealogical research for their families, they were not interested in "Treasure Hunting." You have to have the right type of crowd, if you know what I mean. I think Claudine sold three of her books. She only has about 70 left. I have a poster from Ohio interested in purchasing my research books. I gave him a price but I have not heard back yet. He was mostly looking for divers and shipwreck books. I have lots of them, mostly magazines by E. Lee Spence. I was going to visit the vault while I was up there, you know try to get as much done as possible since gas prices are ridiculous. SOMEBODY SHOULD GO TO JAIL. If it was left up to me I would hang them or deport them. But that is only my opinion. I will wait for a later day when the "gas fools" have had their panic. Everyone rushing to get a tank of gas only drives up the price, if they would only be calm and collected the price wouldn't go up. I saw several stations sold out because of "horders" I think a better word is "panic fools" But anyway it was a beautiful day. I hope you enjoy the CD Books. About 25 years research are in some of them. I gathered research in NC, SC, Georgia, FLA as well as Virginia for the "Lost Treasury Gold." I am going to buckle down and I hope before hunting season starts, I'll get to check both of my Beale Treasure Vaults out. I will keep you posted. Thanks for the Montvale Information. Albert

;D I agree; I AM glad I got yer CD BOOKS; and thank you for the other "stuff", too. It WAS a BIG crowd, looking for "family history" and "treasure hunters" were NOT as obvious. I CAN tell you, that whenever I went to Bedford City library to do research... SOMEBODY had been there with books on "Beale", maps, etc. left on the tables... MAYBE, it was YOU! ;D YOU had LOTS of stuff, there... I thought it was gonna be yer CD's ONLY... and that you would SELL OUT! Ah well... we learn; you are correct, it gotta be a "treasure-loving" crowd. Botetourt County has something like this, coming up on Saturday, Oct. 11, 2008; 9am - 3pm just "google" BOTETOURT COUNTY GENEALOGY FAIR AGAIN... sounds MORE like a Family History "thing".

;D It's FAIR time! Sept. 11, 2010 Bedford Genealogical Society with MANY venders, etc. PV will be there; I'm gonna go to buy all three volumes of BEDFORD VILLAGES: LOST & FOUND by DAR. Gonna look for info on Boonesboro, Abert, Big Island, etc. Saw a ghost on Coffee Rd. in front of the house last evening... just before dark. Youngish-looking fellow with reddish brown hair, in a pony-tail; on a horse; stopped on the road looking at me... pointing to me ( I was sitting in a chair, watching the cars go by). NO sound... he was "beckoning" me to either follow him or "hop on" the back of the horse, behind him. HA! Didn't do that; it WAS an interesting event. Thom. Jefferson DID use Coffee Road (formerly known as BETHEL to LIBERTY TURNPIKE) to get to POPLAR FOREST, about 10 miles, south of here. Hmmm... ANYWAY; The FAIR @ www.bedfordgensociety.org/page25.html ;D www.bedfordgensociety.org/page23.html has the scheduled lectures. (SUNNY out...)

;D Wife & I went to the 1 pm lecture on Rail Roads in Bedford Co, Va. Started out as Virginia & Tenn. Rail Road (BEST part for ME); the guys seemed unaware of the Black Water Creek Marsh portion (now, Black Water Creek bike/hike trail), where I found carvings on the bluffs. Fits RIGHT IN with CONFEDERATE WAR & CSA Treasury, that PV wrote about. HA!

Hi Rebel, Thanks for the heads up but I don't think I will be able to attend. Maybe next year. Getting in the process of moving after 31 years. I will let you know when I get settled in. Keep up the good work.
