I found another gold coin Saturday. That makes four. I have also found nine silver and six coppers. I would love to find a handful of gold coins--------retire to treasure hunting 24/7.
I am researching on my days off from work----sometimes 10 hours a day. I have ten rolls of microfilm coming in from the Library of Congress. I tried to get the President's Book but they would not let me view it. National Treasure Three, I am already working on National Treasure, 101.
So, kydave have they published the April issue of "Lost Treasure" magazine yet? When it comes out, let me know if they have my three stories in it? Thanks. Albert

Having a problem with "Lost Treasure"! They said my subscription ran out and i haven't renewed which was not true! So after phone calls etc. i'm supposed to start getting it again but who knows when? The least of my problems! I've located some loot hidden in a Fireplace inside a home and not sure how to get the owner to let me come in and tear out a few bricks. Guess i would need a contract! I'm pretty sure it's still there since it belonged to a crazy Hermit but somebody could have found it already even though it's hidden well. Gold and Silver coins i suspect! If i even mention Fireplace the homeowner won't need me anymore!

kydave, Just sit on that one like a mother hen on an egg. Times change, conditions change and there will be an opportune time for you----just don't let to many others know----just keep it to yourself. As an apple ripens on a tree, it's time will come to you. Be patient. Albert

That kind of reminds me of a story Paul Henson told me once. He discovered the barrel of a Civil War cannon sticking out of the ground on a farm somewhere so he covered it completely with dirt and went to get permission to relic hunt. Ha! guess it was a little over the property line! Anyway the farmer refused! He told me he would just keep the location to himself until the old farmer passed away then go back. Well, you know the rest of the story!

I will be giving that last found CSA Gold coin to a friend this Friday. I appreciate good friends. If I had more, I would share more. But anyway, I talked to a lady in Due West, South Carolina the other night for almost an hour and a half. I had forgotten how refreshing it is to talk to honest country folks. It was certainly a breath of fresh air for me. I need to get out and meet more country folks. That is where you will find most of your enjoyment when out treasure hunting. The people is what that counts, avoid greedy, selfish and the ungodly they will drag you down with them. That has been my problem for the past six years, I am getting over that lost time by meeting new friends and enjoying every minute of the time I have left treasure hunting. Albert

Hi Rebel, sorry about not posting more? I wish others would at least get on here and chat. It is about all that is free anymore.
E. Lee Spence wrote the book "The Real Rhett Butler" Spence is a successful treasure hunter. He found his first treasure ship at the age of 12. He was the first treasure hunter that found the Hundley. I have a lot of respect for him. But in recent times he has lost a lot of credibility with others, but I still respect him. He not only talks treasure but he gets out in the field and searches for it. I have talked to Mr. Spence on the telephone, send emails back and forth and he has revealed top secret information on a cache to me when I defended him openly on the Internet about his discovery of the Hunley and not the most recent people in the news about their discovery of finding it. They found it by using E. Lee Spence's sea charts that he openly printed in several of his magazines of which I subscribed to, but his publication did not last long as his home and office was devasted by a hurricane. I have since sold his magazines because I don't search underwater very much but there was a great deal of research thrown into the printing of those magazines.
As for George Alfred Trenholm, the South would not have been able to fight the Civil War for more than two years had it not been for the Fraser, Trenholm Shipping out of Charleston, S.C. and Liverpool, England. Trenholm moved his shipping business to Liverpool, England before the war. He amassed a fortune before the war and after receiving 1 and 1/2 percent royalty off of the CSA Shipments by the end of the war he had over $50 Million Dollars. He had over 55 to 65 ships sailing and running the Yankee blockade, the union could do nothing with these ships as they sailed under the British Flag. If they had been attacked England would have entered the war on the CSA side and the Yankees would have lost for sure. President Lincoln knew this and had to live with this thorn in his side or burr under his saddle until the wars end. But, E. Lee Spence probably placed a lot of research into his book. I need to purchase one and read it myself and I hope others will do the same.

Albert I posted on the treasurenet forum the location where I was finding these coins in a stump in Greenhill Cemetery. I went there yesterday to make another look------guess what? Vandals has scattered the stump all over the family plot. That is the reason you can not trust anyone in treasure hunting, not only will they double-cross you when they get a chance but if they can get a sniff of any location----they will definately destroy that site. I will move on to some of my other treasure locations------nothing lost, nothing gained either kay sera sera.
