;D "HIGH TEST" regular coffee! BEST to remain silent, for your own protection; otherwise EVERYBODY and their MOMMA will want a "piece" of it (being "entitled", etc). I did R & I on Bedford County Ordinances re. hunting the BEALE TREASURE, hunting the CSA TREASURY... there are NONE! BC must be using state codes... BUT! If it DOES NOT "cover" the BEALE TREASURE and /or CSA TREASURY... NOT legally-binding; unless I am missing something. ALL that is "stopping" you are NO TRESPASSING ordinances/laws on PRIVATE PROPERTY. DIFFERENT for state/Fed owned properties; look into it.

I am trying to do this legally which is the hard way. The easy way will take one straight to jail. I will do it legal or it can stay buried another 147 years. Thanks for the advise though. I always like others thoughts on the matter at hand.

We are making progress but legal obstacles are hard to overcome but we are getting there slowly but surely. I know I need to post more but I have really been busy. I now have had legal work finished in four different States. We still have to now get a Court Order. That will be sometimes after the 4th of July Holiday. After filing for the Court Order we may know something in another couple of months after that. Keep us in your prayers we need all the help we can get.

About all historians believe the South was broke at the end of the Civil War. They only had $538,000 in hard specie left and most of that was in foreign coin mostly Mexican Silver Dollars. Last Secretary of the Confederate States of America, Micajah Clark supposedly keep a record and every cent is believed to be accounted for or was it?
This was only a rabbit for the Fox to chase a decoy if you will, the real hard specie was hidden away in the country over three years before the end of the Civil War. Where? I am working on that question.
In the Fall of 1864 the CSA had a surplus of over 460 Million Dollars in the treasury most of this was in coin. With the government receiving upwards of $40 Million a year in taxes in hard specie where was all of this coin and money going------it was going into vaults made and created for the purpose of extracting it later. Should all of the specie the South had been exposed then the dollar would not have been devalued from 20 to 1 to 60 to 1 and then about 100 to 1.
Where is all of these money vaults of the CSA well believe you me they will be discovered and recovered soon.

;D GREAT! One for the "history books"! There is a lot needed to be added to our history books. Most history is sensational but lacking in facts. They only give you enough on each story to get you interested. Once you dig into the facts you find 9 times out of 10 the history books are completely wrong on facts because of historians rehashing the same ole same ole same ole. They need to dig deeper to find the true facts. On this I would like to add I would bet there are more than 20,000 books or more not including history books that claimed the South was broke-------always showing Rebel soldiers with sore feet and no shoes. The facts are completely different. In Danville before Appomattox and Lee's Surrender there were over 500,000 pairs of shoes purchased in Mass. there were rations for over 3.5 million with a like amount in Greensboro, Salisbury and other railroad stops. History needs to be re-written at times to correct our journey through life. This is going to be a major correction.

True!!! A lot of these Civil War Buffs only know what they have read!!! Thanks kydave, How is things going? Making any trips to the Florida Coast? I think A. Lincoln said it best in a letter to his brother. His brother wanted to sell the family farm so he could travel and start over somewhere else. A. Lincoln told his brother it may not be paradise where he was now but neither was it on the other side of the hill. So look for treasure in your own backyard. You will be surprised there is more there than you will find by traveling hundreds of miles. Good luck to you kydave.

Hey Beale, Yeah i'm only 20 miles from Lincoln's birthplace. Finally figured out you won't find any shipwreck stuff unless there's a storm in Fla. I am taking your advice on local hunting. Lately i've been researching one of the old Pioneer Forts where the Indians killed everybody and hid their valuables nearby. Luck to you too!

YO! Knob Creek? FED-Land (NPS); be careful... be VERY careful, Bro. LOTS of CSA- related "assets" in Kentucky... LATER utilized by OUTLAWS, after the CONFEDERATE WAR! Reason why I "tell" you this, is that 2nd Kentucky Cavalry & Gen. John Hunt Morgan was the mounted escort for CSA Prez Jeff Davis as they fled south... BUT! The "word" I got was that SOME of Confederate "assets" (CSA Treasury & weapons) was given to 2nd Kentucky Cavalry to take back to Kentucky for "safe-keeping"... AND! I believe J.H. was a FreeMason; NOT sure... DOES "give rise" to FreeMason's SAFE HOLE or HOLE SAFE. I would "look" around John Hunt Morgan's birth place, or where he lived. Good Luck & HH!

;D Gen. Morgan WAS a Bro! Member of the Joseph Hamilton Daveiss Lodge in Lexington, Kentucky... but WAIT! There's MORE! Bro Daveiss was born in BEDFORD COUNTY, VIRGINIA (March 4, 1774)... was a US Marine at Battle of Tippeconoe. Bro Morgan was in the Mexican War, & of course, the CONFEDERATE WAR (@ 7 battles). Gen. Morgan is buried in Lexington, KY, and "clues" MAY be on his tombstone.

Hey Reb, Yep Knob Creek as Beale said is just over the hill and said to be his "boyhood home" about 10 miles from his birthplace in Hodgenvile. I worked with the Archaeologist one winter on a dig there which turned up nothing! I have dug some of Morgan's troops bullets at Elizabethtown where they attacked and burned the railroad trestles about 25 miles from me. Good to hear from you and Beale keep up the good work! Signing ha! ha!
