Hey Rebel, Why don't you get yourself a good metal detector and get out and do a little hunting? Man all those Civil War relics in Va., some of that stuff is worth a lot of money if you didn't want to collect! As much history as you already know about your State i'm sure you would do good rescueing all those relics and have a lot of fun doing it. Guys i know out there are really doing well. Once you get bit by the "Relic Bug" the wound never heals! Who was it that said that? Poe? Ha!

;D Giving appropriate "sign", and MUMBLING "pass-word"... NEVER certain, it is the CORRECT one... LOL! Imitating MEXICAN Bandito... "DON"T NEED NO STINKING METAL DETECTOR." TRUE, the Shenadoah Valley has MANY Civil War battlefields, along the OLD VALLEY TURNPIKE (aka Rt. 11); found & still have minnie balls, "ringed" bullets (REB & YANK), a cannon ball, SEVERAL buttons, (such as REBEL AUGUSTA MILITARY ACADEMY... VERY rare)... all FOUND W/O MD. "KNOW" whereabouts of several cannons with REBEL coins in "plugged-in" barrels, buried along the Shenandoah River; caves used by REBEL forces, with their names on the wall... "going deeper", heard you could find CSA "assets" (weapons, etc). My family has found and given me Civil War-related stuff... such as CSA dollar bills... ONE $ 1.00; TWO $ 5.00; THREE $ 10.00; ONE $ 20.00; ONE $ 50.00; and ONE $ 100.00; ALL from my paternal grand-dad's OLDER brother, who was a REBEL flag-carrier, during the WAR, as a YOUNG lad. Been VERY BLESSED, indeed! Found some stuff as a re-enactor... Co. I, 10th Va. Cav. (T. Jackson's "Foot Cavalry") - Conrad's Store, Va. (aka ELKTON, Va.). SHHHHHH! ;D Don't go "wetting yer pants", now... ya hear?
