There is a lot of information to gather from The Beale Papers before you can locate this treasure vault. Previously, I have discussed the fact (yes, it's a fact) that in the DOI there is a short burst of information that gives you the location of the vault.
There is also no doubt that, with the original Papers, that the type of print is not the same as the print that we have with the modern day copies of these copies. I'm quite positive that the original Ciphers were "set-up" in order to give you clue after clue, clues that can ONLY be found if you have the original copy, along with an understand of the coding techniques involved.
I stated in my last post, titled; "Beale's Ciphers: Boy....was I wrong," that the statement found in the DOI about how "I have deposited in the county of Bedford, about four miles from Buford's...." is giving you everything that you need to know about the treasures' location. However, Buffalo Roads IS NOT in Bedford County. I also went on to explain the fact that "four miles from Buford's" is really all you need, again, as long as you know how to decipher the codes properly. But, let's get back to Bedford County.
Bedford County is mentioned in this single line ("I have deposited in the county of Bedford.....") and this statement holds a ton of mis-information. Bedford County HAD TO BE MENTIONED because it is what ties the false lead of Buford's Bar/Tavern into this story. This statement about Bedford County actualy GUARANTEES that people will automatically be looking in the wrong place. It guarantees that people will be using Buford's Bar as the starting point. Just look at how many "experts" are still looking in Bedford County TO THIS VERY DAY, yet they claim that "they" have the solution (just like Richard from a previous post titled: Beale Ciphers drive people crazy).
The Beale Ciphers will, if you have the knowledge, tell you in a couple of different ways, EXACTLY where you need to be, will tell you exactly everything that you need to know in order to get to this vault, or any other treasure vault that you have a map to. Let me give you just ONE example of how people have been mis-led by their so-called expertise, and how they refuse to admit that their knowledge is actually worse than worthless. Have you ever heard of Oak Island?? This is the most perfect example of how the dreams of finding treasure can over-ride a man's common sense. Oak Island DOES NOT have a treasure on it. Oak Island is a false lead. Yet, even after the deaths of several men, treasure hunters continue to throw their money away.....risking their lives over a concocted false lead. The Oak Tree found on Oak Island was SET-UP to draw attention to it, it was set up to be a diversion....just like Bedford County was set-up as a diversion, just like Buford's bar was set-up as a diversion. And what an effective diversion Buford's has been!!!!!!!!!
Like I said, the Beale Ciphers give you more proof of your final destination, a lot more than what's stated in the DOI about how; "I have deposited in the county of Bedford, about four miles from Buford's....." Buffalo Roads (abbreviated to BUFORDS) is located in AMHERST COUNTY, Virginia, which is just North of Bedford County. But darn it, how do we get to Amherst County from Bufords Bar, which is located in Bedford County?? Granted, if you knew about Buffalo Roads, and if you knew about the fact that Bufords was an abbreviation for these roads, and if you understood the coding/decoding techniques, then you would have no problem what-so-ever getting to the Forks of Buffalo (as they are known today). But you know, I refuse to go off of assumption, you know what I mean?? If I can't prove my point using the information found within the Ciphers, then I will just let it go. I refuse to a "Richard" and guess at what you think they MEANT to tell me. But to be honest, that's about all these other so-called "experts" have ever done....guessed and assumed (this obviously doesn't hold true for the dis-info agents). Like I said, if you can't prove it using the Ciphers....and if you're still looking for the Beale Vault in Bedford County, do us treasure hunters a favor and keep your information to yourself.
Moving right along....let's look into the Ciphers a little more and see if there IS more proof found. Proof that "backs up" the information found in the line about how a treasure is buried 4 miles from Bufords. On page 9 of my copy of the Beale Papers we see a letter from "BEALE" to Mr. Morris. Who IS this Beale?? He's the one who wrote these ciphers, so you want to pay close attention to this letter, for he was a very crafty Mason, well versed in the treasure codes. Just before this letter from Beale to Morris, there is a paragraph that starts out: "The first in order is the letter from Beale to Mr. Morris..........". Did you catch that?? Or have you been led astray?? Forgive me, I'm not trying to talk down to you, just trying to make you see how such a simple statement can be so full of information, yet treasure hunters have over-looked this "line of words" for over a hundred years, and are still over-looking it today. This paragraph states "The first in order.....". At what step is the treasure vault found at?? If you believe my information, then you know it's found at the FIRST step....and now we are told that this letter from Beale is; "the FIRST in order." This may be too simple for some people to understand, so let's move on.
Looking at this FIRST letter from Beale, we see that the letter has a heading that shows the location of where this letter was (supposedly) sent from. This letter states that it was sent from Lynchburg. Do you know what County Lynchburg is in?? Lynchburg is in AMHERST COUNTY. This letter doesn't say Bedford...or Bufords Bar....it says Lynchburg. Hmmmmm. Is there more information in this letter?? Darn straight there is, but I won't go into all of it. I will go into just the high-points of information. But again, I want you to remember that Beale was sly and he knew the treasure codes, he knew of the different types of treasure maps. And, in this FIRST letter, Beale created a "letter-style" treasure map (I wrote about these types of maps over 15 years ago), and he is giving you all the information that backs up what is found in the DOI. The question is, have you been led astray??
Moving along in this letter-style treasure map that was written by Beale, we're going to move down to the 10th paragraph, found on page 11 (of my copy anyway). Ok, let me repeat this for clarity. Beale has given us Lynchburg as the town from
which he has left. His letter then goes into a "fairy tail" of sorts that is designed to match the information that he is trying to "disperse" to the treasure hunter/Lodge. For example, this "buffalo hunt" is just part of the story that Beale HAD to concoct in order to "build around the truth." This Buffalo hunt is actually backing up the fact that BUFORDS is an abbreviation for Buffalo Roads. Anyway, back to this 10th paragraph.
This 10 the paragraph starts out: "Stopping at Buford's, where we remained a month, UNDER PRETENSE OF HUNTING......". Man, there is a lot being said here!!!!! First, I direct your attention to the fact of this statement of "....UNDER PRETENSE OF HUNTING....". Do you know what "under pretense" means?? Another way to say it is like this: "WE were PRETENDING to be hunting." What did I say about the so-called "buffalo hunt?" I said it was a lie and that it was a part of a made-up story that HAD to include Buffalo hunting in order to impress upon you that Buffalo Roads is where the treasure room is located.....and NOT Buford's Bar...and certainly not in Bedford County.
Now, let me "decode" this first sentence of paragraph 10. Because, when you put all of this information together from the DOI and this letter-style treasure map from Beale, you get an over-load of information that is self-proving. You get two or more sources for the SAME INFORMATION, all "spoken" in a different way, but all of which comfirms you are on the right tack to the Beale Vault. Again, combining the information from this letter from Beale with the this same information found in the DOI, here's what you get: "After leaving Lynchburg, we stopped at Buffalo Roads (BUFORDS) for one month." This same sentence in paragraph goes on to say: "....under pretense of hunting, etc., WE VISITED THE CAVE, and found it unfit for our purpose."
Beale goes on, In the second sentence of paragraph 10, to explain why this cave was unfit, stating that the nearby farmers used it to store their crops in. I'm not sure whether I beleive this statement or not. Anyway, the 3rd sentence in this paragraph 10 has Beale stating: "We soon selected a better place, and to this the treasure was transferred." Beale never gave any clues that the party had left Buffalo Roads to find this "better place" where the treasure was buried. In fact, the main reason that I don't believe the story about the farmers using this cave for the storage of their crops is that this would mean that people would be "in the area" of the treasure vault way too often for a secure treasure site. But, what do I know? I've never been to Virginia, or to Buffalo Roads. But I CAN see from where I'm at (2 thousand miles away) that Bedford County is a false lead....so is Buford's Bar. In fact, if you're not in Amherst County, if you're not at Forks of Buffalo, then you're wasting your time. You have certainly been "buffalo'd." When I wrote the topic titled: "Beale's Cipers: Boy....was I wrong" I stated that Buffalo Roads (Forks of Buffalo) was located in Bedford County. Funny thing....none of the "experts" caught this mistake. I'm not speaking ill of these people, I just want you to note that the reason that they never caught this mistake is because they are still hunting in Bedford County....they are still chasing the false trails. Like Kenworthy stated: "When the treasure hunting bug bites you, it's got you for life." What a sad life....to chase the false trails.....never finding anything that you claim to be an 'expert" on. This is why it is so important to find and research as many treasure trails that you can find. Most "Beale Experts" have never been to more than three treasure tail sites, and that's just not enough to understand the signs and symbols....and, just like in Beale's first letter Morris, these experts "pretend to be hunting," they "pretend to be experts."
(read my topic; Beale's Cipers, Boy.....was I wrong. you will get the information about the DUCK symbol, which is vital in the deciphering of the Beale Ciphers.)
