Let's bring ERE FEN DUE RED KNEE into the picture again. The treasure is in the decipherment of B1. There is a message there. The message seems to have been placed by Edgar Allan Poe. Poe has left a signature in B1; specifically, in the letter string identified by Jim Gillogly (see his article linked above). Whether there is a physical (real) treasure of gold and silver is moot. I can now prove that Poe has left a signature in B1. Robert Ward's site (linked to above) takes on a whole new meaning. The comparison between the Beale Papers and The Gold Bug is critically important. Let's study the cryptographic aspect of this puzzle and come to some conclusion. On a different topic. My first book is published. It's about cryptography/steganography and I think a very interesting read. The book can be ordered at: www.rosedogbookstore.com (click on poetry and then general poetry to search for the book near the end of list) Thanks for your attention. Ken legrand1843@hotmail.com

Seriously all, let's get interested in cryptography. The treasure's there. Poe's signature will be revealed in my next book; I hope to have it written and near published within a year. In the mean time, enjoy "Leaves...... Thanks for all the support. www.rosedogbookstore.com/leoflali.htmlKen

If Edgar Allan Poe created the Beale Papers, the treasure is a hoax....non-existent. My position has changed. I am convinced that John William Sherman created the Beale Papers making them appear to have been written by Edgar Allan Poe. No treasure exists. There may be something hidden at Redknee if this location can be found. Sherman DID create ERE FEN DUE RED KNEE in cryptogram B1, however. And, he hid a signature for Edgar Allan Poe also within B1. I can prove both of these statements. Support for John William Sherman as the creator of this mystery can be viewed at: angelfire.com/pro/bealeciphers/Page24.htmand angelfire.com/pro/bealeciphers/Page22.htmWe must talk cryptography, the treasure is the plaintexts in B1. Hope you have the answer friend, but it will take more than a few deciphered words to convince the posters here i'm afraid. I commend you on your efforts but most of the posters won't buy your story or your books. Ha! We all think there's more to the story and the ciphers are very real probably causing generations to come to bust their brains on them. Everybody is looking straight ahead for some kind of treasure and not looking back at the story line so i'm afraid all you have is a dime novel yourself but luck to ya anyway.

kydave,
B1 is NOT a hoax. It is real and potent with message. I'm not trying to disappoint people with what appears to be truth...but I'm sure what is being displayed is disappointing to those who have taken so much of their time to search for treasure. I'm afraid the gold and silver and jewels are phantoms.

Hows it going there Mr. Beale? I rest my case Mr. Legrand! Batter-up! Think there's something wrong with my wife! We're going down to Fla. for a few weeks and she wants me to leave my detector at home. Got her an appt. with the Doc on Fri. !

Beale I understand your position; maybe in the next year investigators will become more aware of and interested in the cryptography....in B1 as the vault. In the mean time, please help me promote "Leaves of Lavendered Lily," it really is a fascinating book. Thank-you. Order at: www.rosedogbookstore.com/leoflali.htmlor TX: 1-800-834-1803

Yo! Rebel here: ;D beale, U R correct... best NOT to endorse something like that; Legrand... Allied Zombies United? AZU ? U pulling our legs, aren't U ? The "locals" around here have NEVER, NEVER heard of Red Knee... Have U EVER been in Bedford County... around Montvale, Va. ? Do U KNOW the terrain ? Mr. Cheney AKA Wild Card does... AND so do we...

Beale
The point was, that you should get the book and read it. I know you would enjoy it.

Think "outside the box". I didn't create "Red knee". I deciphered it. Why this phrase was selected for encyrption is beyond me. Maybe there's no meaning behind it at all; maybe there is. But remember, it was encrypted. There sure is a lot to consider about Edgar Allan Poe as author of the Beale Papers, however, John William Sherman is still a powerful influence.

Yo! Rebel here: ;D HA! I AM "thinking outside da box"... Yer not... u R STILL stuck with cypher codes and such... AND "Red Knee"... beale & I talk to the "local"... do research in Library, Museum, walk these "hills & dales"... WE are "outside da box" of Beale Treasure "history", which is NOTHING MORE... than a COVER, for CSA-related stuff that I have "posted"... believe WHAT you want... we do research on REAL people of the various time periods connected with this mystery; what I have found is... in Law Enforcement terms... BEYOND THE SHADOW OF A DOUBT... BEYOND REASONABLE DOUBT... of which I think you understand... WHERE DO YOU THINK I GET MY INVESTIGATION SKILLS? Pass the "coffee & donuts"... PLEASE..." ;D
