so where are the rocks coming from today? Are they from before 1997, or are they being sold by the timber company, or by people who go there despite regulations, or are they found on a different site alltogether?

hi ya all, my name is albert and i live within 15 miles of the now closed holley blue dig. i dug this agate from 1986 until it was closed to digging several years ago. most information about the dig is inaccurate and somewhat misleading. anyone out there that would like to know more about this agate please feel free to ask and i will try to answer any questions to the best of my ability. thank you. |

This is my first post to this forum, as I have hesitated so much on any forum about the following... . I believe I have a Ellensburgh Blue agate, of which if it truly is, would be considered massive comparatively. I took it to Washington rock /gem show in Puyallup,Wa. The sellers there almost didn't believe it was one at first because of its size. By the time we walked out of the show, people were literally hollering out; "That a $50,000 rock in that lady's purse. Not jokingly either. I don't have pics at the moment and the agate has been placed in our storage. But I do have pics I can send shortly . I also have access to the E.B. itself at any time. I'm just not sure about how to go about all this . I have the history of it from the person who gifted it to me as well. (He unearthed it in Kittitas County.)
