What she found was the cipher of the party's next of kin that was deciphered a long time ago. At the same time as the content of the vault. I know the key to that also just haven't taken time to look it up,and write it out if someone wants to do that. be my guest.

;D What she found was T.J. BEALL's original BIBLE, with some letters and a MAP enclosed within some pages; NOT! cyphers, etc. She "hand-copied" the letters/and drew a copy of MAP... THAT is what is exciting about this NEW development; too much info CONGRUENT with "local" legends/family histories, etc., with LOTS of "local" terrain (mountains, etc), that ONLY a "local" would know. BTW, I STILL think WILLIAM LARIMER, JR. was the founder of Denver City, Colorado... www.historymania.com/american_history/William_Larimer,_Jr. What history book, did you use?

You seem to be the one that knows where all the book are. In what I have seen so far. Look this up for me if you would please! For the love of money. I've looked everywhere, and can't find it. Pre-1816, and I don't who wrote it.
Your help in this matter would be greatly appreciated.

Yo! ;D THE LOVE OF MONEY (PRE-1816) is the title? HA! I thought you were just using slang-phrase like... "OH! for the love of God!" HA! ANYWAY, sounds like you are chatting about U.S. MINT... first started on June 24, 1816 & www.us-coin-values-advisor.com is the FIRST place I would go. It MAY be www.us-coin-values-advisor.com and they have info about pre-U.S. Mint types of "money"; you can ALSO "google" HISTORY OF U.S. MINT & MONETARY "SYSTEMS" of PRE-1816 AMERICA/USA hh & Good Luck!

I'll show you all that if you are the one. You are wrong about that one also, wildfire890! Thomas Jefferson Beall died in Bedford County. Beale and one other man of the party survived the Indian attack. The other man that survived with Beale was wounded by an Indian arrow to the leg. Beale was best man at his wedding in 1826. They were married at the Church of the Peaks by the Rev. James Mitchell. Beall left a tavern in Roanoke with two of his men he had gathered up for a third expedition to the West. They were captured by the Indians near the James River, were carried back into the mountains by these Indians, tortured and killed. Beale left the "KEY" letter and a map in his family Bible with George Rader Brugh, proprietor of the Planter's House in St. Louis. Mr. Brugh and his companion were killed at the same tavern in Roanoke that Beale had departed for his third expedition. You should read Claudine Fulton Ellis' book then you would know the story, which is the true story. I have researched everything in the book and everything checks out according to the records.
