The question is still on the table,"Are you playing a hunch or have you actually seen the treasure?"

;D YEP! Gotta see al least ONE gold or silver bar; If stamped CSA on EITHER, gotta be part of the CSA TREASURY. If just gold or silver bars... PROBABLY to be used by COUNTERFEITERS to make coins for the colonies. Botetourt County has MANY Smelters, and SOME are hidden in the Jefferson National Forest (FED LAND). SO! Show ONE bar... gold OR silver.

Good morning, rebel, sunny out but cold this morning.
oloren does not know what he is talking about. Take a look at his other four post-----------he talks about the house on the parkway where the Blackhorse Tavern sat and oloren asked a question could the treasure be there. Next he talks about the Beale Treasure being near Johnson's orchard completely reverse and about six miles further east and then he comments I know there are some bullets up there.
The army of Yankee General Hunter when pursued by Rebel General Jubal Early stayed mostly along the route of present day US 460 through Buford's Gap where a fight insued and sharpshooters were shooting and picking them off all the way through Big Lick through Salem. Some did cross the Blue Ridge Parkway near Bobblitts Gap and raped some of Bobblitt's daughters but I do not believe any marched by Johnson's Orchards however some stragglers did cross on 43 towards Buchannon.
I hate to see people get on this forum and act like they know something about the exact location of the Beale Treasure when they don't even know the history of the area or it's previous residents. oloren get a life.

Yep my point exactly, from his spelling he seemed to be a little "impaired" on his last Post compaired to his other 4. But oh well just having fun i guess, no law against that! Maybe he'll do better next time, if there is one?
