Rebel, Have you read all of the 192 pages in the book, "Lost Diaries of Thomas J. Beall?" What did you think about the genealogy? That is really TJB's brothers and sisters and their parents. Also relatives and friends. Several are being purchased now as I have them on CD's. I sent one to Germany and treasure hunter in Georgia purchased one and another in Utah. The one in Georgia and Utah also purchased my other three CD's 1. Confederate States of America Volume 1---Lost Treasury Gold, over three hundred pages and at least one hundred photos and maps. In this book is also a map of the two locations of the CSA Treasury in Danville, Virginia. "X" marks the spots 2. Confederate Treasure in Danville, The Addendum, about 92 pages along with a lot of good information for researchers. It has the names and outfit of the 700 CSA soldiers that died in the Danville, Virginia hospitals. Also all of the citizens that lived on Craghead and Lynn Streets. Names, occupations where they slept and their ages. Also given is good information on the treasure of the CSA. 3. Ten Tales of Treasure, ten stories that I have sent to rebel and peter v. These are stories that I have listed above nine total plus one of two that I had published. Parker's Ferry Gold and Jubal Early's Gold titled Burnt Chimney. 4. Of course the last one is the story I wrote during the winter, "Lost Diaries of Thomas J. Beall." I believe that if anyone read this book seriously they would find out how much information is stored or hidden. I give a couple locations of the Beale Treasure and one of them is the exact location. I have these posted in the "Civil War" thread on Treasurenet Forum. Should anyone be interested in any of these send me a personal message or go to the Treasurenet Forum. The CD's are $20 each or you can have them sent to you as attachments for $15. On the Treasurenet Forum I also told everyone that purchased one will get $1,000. back when the CSA Treasury is recovered by me and assets start flowing in. Also all purchasers names will be placed into a drawing for $1 Million Dollars. When I start reading the "Lost Diaries of Thomas J. Beall" I can not lay it down until I finish. I love reading it and I am sure others will too. I can't remember whether I posted Book Number 5 that I wrote last Fall called, "In Search of Fort Mayo?" These five are available on CD at $20. each postage included. Each one sold the buyer's name will be added into a drawing for $1 Million Dollars when I recover the CSA Treasury. So if you buy all five you will have five chances at winning the $1 Million Dollars. Also, I have made post on other forums today, if anyone invest $1,000. they will receive 50 chances at the $1 Million Dollar drawing and one-tenth of one percent of the value of the treasure which is valued at $2 Billion Dollars. This comes to another $1 to $2 Million Dollars. Any investor that invest $10,000 will have 500 chances to win the drawing of $1 Million Dollars and will receive a contract for one percent of the value of the treasure. This will amount to $20 Million Dollars or more. So order your books on CD today. Investors email me, send personal messages or phone me today. Let's make this recovery happen soon. Then we can recover the Beale Treasure. STILL NO INVESTORS?? Well at least the books are selling on CD's. If you haven't got your CD and a chance at the $1 Million now is the time. Snowed in and too cold to hunt. I could research but the government gets too many days with pay and no work. Lee/Jackson Day on Friday and ML King Day on Monday. It never ceased to amaze me how the government can keep coming up with holidays and expect to run the country when they have to work and not on vacation?

Yo! Yeah, beale... a BUMMER!! In terms of the GOV'T... you have TWO classifications (BOTH FED & STATE...); the one that NEVER sleeps or is STILL working... are the ESSENTIAL employees. The ones that get "vacation/days off" are NON-ESSENTIAL employees. As an example, when I was Top Admin. On Duty at the PRISON (ie. "Warden"), snow days would require ALL ESSENTIAL employees to report to work (cooks, CORE guards, medical staff, maintenance, etc.)... Counselors, secretaries, business sectors were NON-ESSENTIAL, and COULD "stay home"... SOME pp in FED/STATE GOV'T... NEVER "sleep"... (shift workers...). NOT sure what to do about "investors", except looking at Money-brokers, with "clients" who want to take "High-Risk" like on Wall Street; I have Mutual Funds as a "meat & potatoes" kinda guy, NOT making "High-Risk" investments like my mom & brother... they make $$$$$, YET! ALSO have to pay TAXES on it... HA!

Yooooowww! BURRRRY, BURRRRY COLD out there!! ALL my bones RATTLE!!! beale, was thinking that you MAY wanna "google" HIGH-RISK MONEY INVESTORS MESSAGE BOARDS, and leave a "message" seeking investors; I will ALSO ask MY "broker". You are aware that MOST pp on this "board" are @ MOSTLY "middle class"; we don't spend $$$$ frivolously; why we are in a RECES- SION. What YOU need are UPPER "middle class" pp , who are STILL "conservative" about their $$$$$$, who ask... "What in it, for me...?" YET! MAY "invest' for a BIG "pay-off". The UPPER Class & VERY WEALTHY pp, don't care... have SO much $$$$$$$$$$$$ that YOUR "investment request" is NOTHING for them to "invest" a "little $$$$ for a BIGGER pay-off. They can THROW $$$$ away, and STILL not be "hurt". When I lived in my house near Charlotteville, up from the Kluge Estate, I was AMAZED at the size of their place... a MOVIE THEATER in their home... WOW!! Patricia Kluge is a WONDERFUL "supporter" of CHILDREN "medical needs programs"... why the formerly named UVA MEDICAL CENTER FOR CHILDREN is now known as KLUGE MEDICAL CENTER (for Children). MAYBE, there are WEALTHY INVESTORS MESSAGE BOARDS, also... ;D

I am really in no hurry, rebel, as soon as the weather gets warm I plan on digging up the Beale Treasure. It has been buried long enough, it's time has come.
Have you looked around Lynchburg in the banks and City Hall for a portrait of Robert Morriss or any information about him? It has got to be there.

Yo! ;D beale, NOTHING on Robert MORRISS... NO info at Jones Memorial Library... NO portrait ANYWHERE; there IS a Robert MORRIS in early Lynchburg, Va. history but NOTHING like indicated in the "Job Print"; Ward is "real". I DO have a copy of EARLY Lynchburg, Va. map done by W. Payne for the sesquicentennial celebration in 1936; on it is the Franklin Hotel, 1817, & Western Hotel, 1800 (I think); NO Washington Inn/Hotel. Can't find ANYTHING on Washington Hotel (other than what is in the "Job Print"). MAYBE, I need to look for FRANKLIN HOTEL, instead of WASHINGTON HOTEL. (SUNNY, yet... COLD! out...).

I would LOVE to have him as a neighbor... STILL looking, tho. Rebel, I have already searched about everything you can think of on the internet. The best place to find something on Robert Morriss is in the courthouse or at city hall or at Farmer's Branch Bank of Virginia of which Robert Morriss was President, Mayor and on the town council. There has got to be records of somebody like that especially MAYOR.

;D As stated previously, there IS a Robert MORRIS, as mayor of Lynchburg, Va. (1813); I will try to find DOB & DOD. Robert MORRISS of the "Job Print", died in 1863. He confided the "story" in 1862, the "second year of the Confederate War...". AGAIN... I will check into the history of the Arlington on Church Street... there is NOTHING on Washington Inn/Hotel.

Yo! ;D Gonna "create" a MATRIX of info BEFORE I go to Jones Memorial Library, AGAIN... to search for Robert MORRISS; ROBERT MORRISS, born in 1778 in Maryland (WHERE?); moved to Loudoun County, Va. with family (WHEN, WHERE, WHO, RECORDS?); married Miss Sarah Mitchell in 1803 (LOUDOUN COUNTY, Va. MARRIAGES RECORDS?); "removed"? to Lynchburg, Va. where... he was a BUSINESSMAN, excelling successfully in MERCHANTILE & TOBACCO (PROOF?); he had the FIRST brick building on Main Street in Lynchburg, Va. (PROOF?); he also had his residence at the "HEAD" of Main Street, ALSO of brick... LATER bought by Max Guggenhetimer, Jr. ( a REAL person, ex-REBEL, and the ONLY Jewish person buried in a "non-Jewish" cementery... "the devil wouldn't look for a Jew in a "non-Jewish"cementery would he?"); HIS words; I LIKE that guy... Robert MORRISS was ALSO stated to have been responsible for the FRANKLIN HOTEL... later to be known as NORVELL HOUSE (PROOF?); It is stated in the "Job Print" that Robert MORRISS "ran" the WASHINGTON HOTEL in 1820, when Thomas J. Beale is FIRST mentioned (PROOF OF WASHINGTON HOTEL?); Robert MORRISS is stated to have died in 1863... his wife, Sarah... 2 years BEFORE that in 1861 (OBITS?). WHEW!!! Am I the ONLY person that has done a "back-ground" check on this "mystery"? There IS a GOOSE CREEK MEETING HOUSE of "QUAKERS" (aka Religious Society of Friends), one in Northern Virginia, and one in Bedford County, Virginia... is there a "connection"?

Hello Gents
Did it ever cross your mind that a goodly bit of the info is not the whole truth and that its highly that Robert Morris had an alias name .
its highly possible that he wasn't an honest business man.
how did he run a hotel while running a tobacco scam where is his tobacco tax records in the name of Robert morris the only thing i can find is in another name . he had plenty of gold and silver stashed away for sure . there is one of those names of the persons listed in the hotel as one of his associates in the nefarious deeds. to make money . now i admit most of this is my on conjecture. but i have only circumstantial evidence at this time pointing to totally dishonest morris .the hotel was a den of thieves. i hope this doesn't offend any body but i am pretty sure of most of this theory being on track.

hey OO7
If Bobby MOrris Had an Alias whats stopping him from spelling with false or idle punctilio .
Forget the obvious and find out who the crooks were in the parlor.
this question has bugged me for awile since BOB WAS IN THE TOBACCO FUTURES BUSINESS WAS PHILIP MORISS IN THE TOBACCO INDUSTRY WERE-THEY KNOWN TO EACH OTHER. I SAY YES.

;D Well... HERE'S the thing... there are NO Lynchburg, Va. records that indicates that "Robert MORRISS" was EVER in the Tobacco Business... I KNOW what P.V. wrote...I just DO NOT know his "source" on Robert MORRISS. Yer "concern" is NULL & VOID... EVERYTHING is STILL under investigstion... and NOT! on the internet... I am ACTUALLY doing "FOOTWORK"!!! ;D
