Yo! Blackwater Creek Trail in Lynchburg, Virginia has some interesting "things" for THers; cliffs, boulders with "writings" (and earliest date I found carved was "1883"...); carvings on trees (which MAY be Boy-Girl "thing"... gotta go back & INVESTIGATE...); and the one thing I have found, and need YOUR "help" on... DRILL HOLES!! What does THREE Drill Holes in a straight line, TWO small ones, leading to ONE BIG one mean? They are on a "bluff" (NOT on the ground...), vertical (NOT horizonal...); 1st small hole is about 6 inches from the small hole above it... the BIG drill hole is about 6 inches from the 2nd small hole below it. In all, the BIG drill hole is about 12 inches above the 1st small one. I have seen MANY "overhangs"'; some "spaces" that look like "ENTRANCES" to caves (Ventilation Shafts?)... GEEZE... ALL THIS IN THE MIDDLE OF A CITY? LAWD GAWD A'MIGHTY!!!
