;D Even tho, it was a filming for a Brit TV Special, I thought it was interesting that focus was on Mel Fisher and "The Mill" event... weren't you there, beale? REAL Mel Fisher "event", that is... NOW! What I have found, is that Fancy Farm ALSO had several MILLS... Hmmmmmmmmm... ;D AND! The Johnsons admitted that pp HAVE dug for the B.T. at their place... wonder why?

Hi Rebel,
Yes I was there before, during and after Mel Fisher. His low-boy and huge backhoe ran me off the road in North Goose Creek before I even knew they were up there. Mel established a "base" of operation at the mill. That was his way of getting all of the local folk to come to him and ask him to search their property for them. I don't believe he ever thought the treasure was actually at the mill. I made three round trips a day for ten days while Mel Fisher was at the mill ----- folks thats a lot of miles-----each round trip was between 150 to 170 miles or about 500 miles a day and for ten days that's 5,000 miles. I did get Mel Fisher to sign a contract with me while he was there. If the treasure was within one hundred feet of a location that I gave him he would give me five percent of the treasure. Mighty generous of him. I waited for one year. He said he would be back on April lst, 1990 and never showed up ever. I was there on April 1st waiting for him. After one year was up I sent him a letter to request him releasing me from the contract so I could get someone else to recover the treasure for me. He released me and I have been trying to recover the treasure ever since. But maybe this year will be different. See you later.
One must think, if the original deciphered letter or code paper number two said the treasure was "about four miles from Buford's" how could the treasure be buried a couple hundred yards from Buford's. Another thought also is maybe Buford's Tavern was not at the mill. It could have been four miles west and then Mel could have been digging at the right place. There is one drawback to all of this and I have inside information on this---------Paschal Buford did not own the mill he seized and took it. Another thing to ponder is Paschal was a bachelor when Beale made his first deposit. Paschal did not get married until the fall of 1820.
I have found so much information by research. I can't and won't reveal all of it until I see if I can recover the treasure then I will come forth with all of my research.
