I have found a 10 cent token on back it sayes good for 10 cents in trade.On the front it sayes O.L NIFONG PALMYRA ILL .ANY GUESSES. thanks

Yo! ;D Sounds like a "token"/"coin" done by a business or farmers' market in Palmyra, Ill. and specifically O.L. Nilfong "biz". I have seen the same down here in Virginia, at the local farmers' market... as way to advertise and induce pp into buying their "products". Sorta like the "fore-runner" of today's coupons "craze"... LOL. Wife & I use 'em... save LOTS of $$$$$ on groceries, once a month. :-)

This token is old I probably need to check with the historical nobodys herd of it the town was established around 1830"s. thanks

Yo! ;D Good source of info... I would ALSO check and see if there is a Nifong Family Association in your area. If so, it MAY be an ancestor, and they MAY want to buy that "piece" of family history... MAYBE, the historical society of Palmyra, Ill., dunno.
