Hello Everyone,
I am new to this site... but I am curious, does anyone know where there is a good place to go for rocks on Vancouver Island. I know there is a lot of beautiful beaches, with some nice rocks... But i am just wondering if there were some good places you guys might be able to suggest.
Thanks. :)

Curious,
I have never been to Vancouver Island but it sure sounds like a place I would like to visit someday.
The best way to find where the best beach locations are for collectible rocks is to go to the INTERNET and look around, you can find about anything on the INTERNET.
I went to "Vancouver island rock mines" clicked on "Rockhounding-Victoria, Vancouver Island & BC Gulf Islands, British... and that web site will give the locations of different kinds of rocks in different locations along the beaches of Vancouver Island. Good Luck, they say there is native gold on Vancouver Island also, not counting how much could be lost by ships upon it's shores. They may be large treasures to recover.
I remember one time a sailor had time off, was walking the beach on Assautige Island, Virginia----where they had a light house. He found a curios red stone about the size of fifty cent piece. He sent the stone to his mother. She took it to a jeweler and it turned out to be a RUBY that had washed a shore and had been rolled back and forth in the sand on the beach till it was not discernible as a precious stone. Good luck to you, I hope you find what you are looking for.
