Hey i was wondering what kind of rock this is, and what its used for, i find this stuff very interesting after reading "the crystal bible" someone told me what this was when she gave it to me but i forgot, i know this stone is used for homeopathy(sp) with something to do with relaxing and clear voice or something, any information would be greatly appreciated, THANKS ;D

There are spots of real gold on it too, i dont know if you can notice it in the picture

Yo! ;D Malcolm, it looks like EMERALD CRYSTAL... "google" it; I have heard of rocks & minerals being used for healing... so, "google" Emerals Crystals for Relaxation & Voice Restoration. Since it IS green, Color Therapy indicates GREEN is a healing color (notice medical staff in GREEN uniforms), walking in the GREEN forest is "relaxing" (except, if you meet a snake or bear... ;D; RUN!!! Good for blood circulation...), and CRYSTALS are used to ampify "energies" (as in electronic equipment). hh

Yo! ;D Looks green to me... HA! BLUE is a good color, too; like sailing on cool blue waters... "google" BLUE CRYSTALS for RELAXATION & VOICE RESTORATION... so will I...

Looks like hematite or the waste from one of the old iron furnances. Used to be a lot of it around here at Barkley Lake near a furnace till the tourist picked it all up!
