I really would like to see some of the James boys coded messages, must have all been destroyed. Took a window pane out of a house near here with his initials scratched on it and a local tavern still has bullet holes in the wall where he shot up the place!

kydave, Google "Pinkerton Files" Library of Congress it should be in there everything else is even the trials and the exact words of all of the James Gang-------Jesse and Frank, Daltons Youngers Hole in the wall gang, Butch and Sundance. All is in the Library of Congress. Wanted posters, photos, cancealed messages so codes must be there also. I read and read over all the files of what they had but the only trouble if you want to read or copy it first hand you have to go to the Library of Congress. I have the e-mail address somewhere if I locate it I will PM it to you.

Thats one great site! Haven't read it all yet but noticed right away the Reno Brothers. I know several people that are still searching for the loot from a train they robbed near Seymour Indiana.

If you get to the Library of Congress these pages will give you directions and what the Pinkerton's found during their investigation. It will be just like opening up the cases all over again. Good luck.

;D HAPPY "post" X-Mas! Just in from today's news; CSA Cipher code decoded, PROBABLY using the CSA SS Cipher Disk. "Google"... "Civil War message opened, decoded: NO help coming". I read somewhere that BALTIMORE was another KEY word for the Rebs... THIS is ALSO interesting... okietreasurehunter.blogspot.com/2008/05/confederate-cipher-disk.html Wonder if they used "BALTIMORE".

Rebel, They used a four letter shift to solve and decipher the message in the bottle. You know "A" becomes "D" etc.
I have cabin fever and just had to say something. I hope this helps you. I have several of those SS CSA Cipher Disk. I sold one on EBAY to a soldier stationed in Iraq. It took him a month before he could get enough power to get his computer up to purchase the disk. I hope he is the man that figures out the "KEY" to the Beale Cipher Code? 15 degrees this morning and 50 mph winds undamn believable you know with Al Gore and the "Earth is heating UP" Have a great day and try to stay warm. ;D HIGH-TEST! COFFEE! Want some, beale? Gonna be 58 degrees THIS Saturday (Jan. 1st). HA! MAYBE all this "CRAZY" weather is a PRELUDE to the "disaster" of 2012... Earth will shift on its axis or something. MAYBE then, the Beale Treasure will be "upped/outted". DUNNO (SUNNY & COLD out...). "Spooks" messed up my original "ps"... For BC # 1 & 3, MAY need MEXICAN ARMY CIPHER WHEEL, which Gen. Lee bought back from the Mexican War of 1846 or something... HE was US Army INTELLIGENCE, then! CAPT. Robert E. Lee. "Google"... "Mexican Army Cipher Wheel TEMPLATE" or go to "Cipher Disk Templates/Secret Code Breaker". It has NUMBERS! ;D
