Has anyone made a quadrangle map of the codes by using the last digit of each numeral. Take 1 thru 9 and place it in the vertical position of a quadrant on the positive side, then take 01 thru 09 and place them on the horizonal side of the same quadrant.
It will surprise you. This will draw a map of the Valley in Buffordsville or Montvale, Virginia. There is an "X" at the location of the cave they at first intended to bury the treasure. The other corresponding ciphers will form the Old Salem Turnpike, today U.S. 460. It will outline the top of Porter's Mountain, Taylor's Mountain and the range of the Blue Ridge Parkway. Connect the dots and it will reveal where the treasure was later buried. No Joke intended. Believe it.

Rebel,
I got another year older on the 20th. Getting a little slower with age. How are things going on the New Beale Treasure Highway. Have you got the signs up yet. I don't know if I told you or not, but my brother and I are making signs, as a part time business, now. We made one for a billboard 8 feet high and 24 feet long. Is that how big a sign you will be needing. Maybe we can sale tickets or charge a toll on that new highway? Hope to see you soon. I will be busy on research until about the beginning of June. I have four more books and two reels of microfilm on order at the library as of today. I have already finished three books since last week. I have found a few things new. I may be able to identify the members of the party that came East to bury the treasure. I think I know five of them right now, but I don't have enough proof only circumstantial. With these other books maybe something new will come out of it. I forgot I have three reels of newspapers on microfilm ordered. One is 1795 to 1809 from Pennsylvania. The other is 1819 to 1826 from Missouri ( it is two reels)
I read the Journals of Jacob Fowler Tuesday Night. It is some right interesting hints in it. Some I gave to Peter Viemeister for his second book. The Blue Book. I thought maybe there was something that I had missed. Sure enough there was. I wish everyone the best. Kydave a lot of my research involves some of your Kentuckians. albert_hunter@yahoo.com
