Found this in Oregon a coupla weeks ago. We believe it's pure quartz......so do you think it's worth anything? It's 10+" long and 7" wide.

If it's just quartz which I suspect from the photo it is, sorry to say it's only worth how much you like it as a decoration. Quartz unless in crystal form is so very common it isn't more than a "garden rock".

Looks like what I've always known as a quartzite pebble... A "cryptocrystalline quartz" rock composed of many tiny quartz crystals too small to be seen by the naked eye. In monetary terms it is probably quite worthless but if you (personally) find it somewhat attractive, then it's worth is obviously immaterial! Don't take my word for it though, ask the experts at Mindat.org They have a wonderful forum for questions such as this.
