The previous decypherment of Code Paper Number One and Code Paper Number Three that I placed on this message board, I forgot to mention one detail.
If you follow the directions to the flat rise across the branch, you will notice a couple of large stones beside the creek on the opposite bank. Under and around these stones, I found two rather odd silver coins. I have never found any coins this old except on the beaches in Florida around the 1715 Silver Plate Fleet. One was a Ferdinand Piece of eight dated 1814 and the other a George II or III dated 1817. Both dates are within the time frame of the Beale Treasure.
Peter Viemeister made a pencil tracing of the 1814 Piece of Eight. This was in July of 1993.
I believed at the time while someone could have lost a couple of coins while crossing the branch or they could have thrown a couple in celebration of finding the treasure. I guess we will never know for sure.

Been researching a couple of ky. treasures and their both supposed to be marked by two stones also! same time frame, late 1700's and early 1800's.
