..but it might be feldspar. I found a huge rock in my backyard, and I think it might be one of those store bought implants, but I cracked it open anyways. The outside was somewhat rosey, the shape was an oval(maybe rectangular like feldspar). When I whacked it with a hammer it broke relatively easy. There appeared to be no cleavage which led me to beleve it was quartz. The crystals inside were shiny white and well textured which also led me to believe this was a large quartz. But as I attempted to make smaller pieces it began to cleave in more of a linear manner(90 degrees and such). I can break it with my hands in certain points. Any ideas??? ;D No picture with this one. But I thought the description would be good.
