A few years ago I inherited a little over 500 acres in Washington state. It belonged to my uncle, and before him, my grandpa. They both had found several ruby deposits, but never really exploited it. They never kept any logs or notes on where the deposits were, and I found my uncle's old GPS and retraced as far as the memory went back without finding anything. Can anyone recommend what I should be looking for? What kinds of rocks, minerals, formations, etc, I should keep an eye out for? If it matters, it's in a chain of the Rocky Mountains called the Selkirk mountain range.
