Anyone planning on researching or digging in Bedford County for the Beale Treasure this year. I am arranging a dig with landowners at one site---------maybe dig during the 4Th of July week. I also have another site but I have not been successful in contacting the landowner. How is everyone else's projects going? Albert

Hello there,
writing to you from Italy. We are planning to shoot a documentary on the Beale Treasure hunt some time in October 2011 for Italian TV. There is a lot of info out there, but no conclusive evidence on whether the story is hoax or not or on whether the code has ever been really deciphered.
I just read your posts and exchanges with Pat Pellegrino and I find myself in a similar position. We would be interested in contacting people familiar with the story and still active in the search. But we do NOT have a budget to pay for interviews. We would already come a long way from Europe to meet with you guys and to go hunting in Bedford county...
In case anyone is interested you can email me at: emanuele.piano@gmail.com
Thanks to all in advance for your time and please spread the word.
Regards,
Emanuele

Discovery Channel, History Channel, FOX Network, BBC, Germany and now Italy will it never end. Everyone wanting to cash in on someone else's hard work without paying. Myself I will never do another television special without cash up front. I turned down the BBC and the History Channel since I was on the Discovery Channel and Fox Network. When will people learn research and hard work is not FREE.
