I searched the Internet and did not have any luck either. Some members here should have a copy they could either sale or make you a copy. I would PM a message to David Mason on this forum. He may have a copy or know where to obtain one.

Hi David and thanks for helping someone out. I remember when Mel was selling those books. I never purchased one as I did not know exactly when he started and ended selling them. I do remember he said he was writing the books. I thought he had sent you and a very few others a copy to look over, the same as I did with my CD. I still get calls for the CD. My website went down. I kept payments up and don't know why the website closed------------maybe the CIA?

;D NAW, beale... NSA; they have been looking since the early 1940's for the Beale Ciphers "solution(s)" & "treasure". The Friedmans even sent "spooks" to Lynchburg, Va. questioning ppl about the ciphers/treasure... HA!

I believe you Rebel. I can not talk to anyone on the telephone without hearing another reciever clicking in. I have told them many times listen all you want but they are not going to hear anything of importance.
I love a mystery and I have played my time out on this one called the Beale Treasure. I am awaiting government approval for my next dig. They surely are slow. When I get to make this dig then I will have the funds to turn Montvale up side down and shake out the Beale Treasure. It is going to get interesting. I am also working on a couple other large treasures actually huge treasures. It will take a lot of funds to recover these but it is something new to work on. As I always say another mystery to solve. Good luck to you Rebel and keep up with the R & I.
Kydave next time you go down to Florida don't check the beaches get landowner permission and search their properties. Most of the treasure down on the gold coast was recovered and scattered or hidden on the beaches on the high grounds. That is what lead to the discovery of the 1715 fleet and then the chicken farmer and self made scuba diver Mel Fisher showed up and started his recoveries. Go back to the roots and search properties on the beach. I believe you will have better luck there. Thanks to all. Albert

You know thats a really good idea! I've seen people searching the West side of A1A in a few locations but i just thought they were looking for coins that may have washed over the hwy. during storms but then thats a pretty good distance away from the Ocean. I was planning on moving to Sebastian but plans changed due to family matters.

Have you been up to the steakhouse on A1A opposite where Mel Fisher built his museum. I forgot the name of it. I have a map he drawed for me of how to get there from his building--------he had not made the museum at the time Taffy was guarding everything with a sawed off shot gun. Ah the good old days. Mel took us down to the local pub for double rum and coke. Anyway when you get to the steakhouse that is near where the 1715 survivors set up camp. Treasures were gathered up on the high sand dunes. A recovery ship was sent out from Havana. They loaded the gold, jewelry and aristocrats aboard and set sail for Spain. Near Fernandina Beach they again where ship wrecked losing all of the salvaged treasure.
Back at the campsite some members secreted off and buried a lot of their gathered plunder hoping to take it home or come back to get it some day. That part of the treasure is still there. There were several that took all of the gold in coins and chains all they could carry and tried to walk to St. Augustine. Their treasures are scattered for 60 miles or more as most later hid their gold or was killed by the Indians. Anyway with a little research or luck you could find an enormous pile of gold somewhere down there other than being in the water. Good luck kydave.

Thanks for the info Beale, didn't know about Fernandina Beach. Mel built a museum on hwy 1 up in Sebastian. Chuck's Steakhouse is gone now but was about a mile North of the inlet and does have a wreck there which i have hunted, also a good fishing spot. The Historical Signs say the Camp was about 2 miles South of the Inlet where the McClarthy museum is located with a wreck behind it. Signs everywhere to keep off the Dunes! Private property might be different don't know but Rangers patrol the Beach on 4 wheelers regulary. Gettin tough to hunt anywhere, laws, laws and more being passed all the time!

I believe Kip Wagner's son has a claim on the area up at Fernandina Beach. I don't see how because he has not located the treasure yet. The treasure is just off the beach at 9th Street--------maybe on the beach? My memory is failing some----------it has been a long time since I researched this. I found it in the writings of Governor Spotswood 1715 fleet. Wrote Mel Fisher a letter and told him about it----he did not know it himself. Did you know Daniel Boone walked to Florida in search of this treasure. He turned West before going far enough south then went through Tallahassee the capitol or at least in that general area before returning home.
Up and down the coast of Florida you should be able to find treasure just about anywhere. Some of it is really deep under the beach sand dunes. I told Hubert Humphrey's Jr. about the Central America and a rich laden Spanish Galleon in the Bahamas. He got rich I did not get a thank you. I told Mel Fisher of gold off his savage ship at the steakhouse you mentioned. One of his divers found over $1 million in gold and yellow diamonds. Mel Fisher thanked me and mailed me a book about wrecked treasure ships. Maybe someone else like you Kydave will get rich by following some of this information? Or someone else out there that may be reading as a guest. Good luck. Albert

Beale there is no doubt that you have more treasure info in your head than anybody i've ever known! If time permitted you could probably write several "hardbacks" about 6 inches thick! Paul Hensen left us a lot of stories and research but i know the best ones he kept to himself and never wrote about but you can't just hand it all over when you barely get a "Thank You! Thanks for sharing! Back to Mel Fisher, somebody told me once that when he was working the wrecks at Sebastian he had placed large signs on the beach with the letters of the alphabet on them a certain distance apart, i would guess to keep up with the area he was searching. They are long gone now, wish i knew where they started and ended because i know which letters that show the most promise on the beach. ABCDEFGH etc.
