After my last post, titled "The Beale Ciphers Drive People Crazy," I spent a few hours pouring over my files on treasure hunting sites and treasure maps in order to find my copy of the Beale Ciphers. Finally, I was able to find them and, to my surprise, I had actually stapled a copy of my deciperings of these ciphers onto the back of the Beale Papers. I went looking for the ciphers after my last post because I realised that one of the statements made in the ciphers, ("I have deposited in the county of Bedford, about four miles from Buford's.....") was actually giving out some very important information. Information that tells you where the Beale Vault can be found.
My decipherings of the Beale Cipher are from the year 2002 and, as I stated before, my knowledge has come a long way since then. To be specific, the knowledge of the DUCK symbol, a symbol that you MUST understand, is what makes locating the Beale Vault possible. I was able to interpret this DUCK symbol, about three years ago, after finding this symbol along dozens of treasure trails, and through cryptanalysis. For those of you who haven't heard of this symbol or know it's meaning, here it is: The DUCK, when found in its natural habitat (on water) will, when frightened, dive under water. Where this DUCK comes up is anyone's guess. In relationship to the treasure trails, when a DUCK symbol is found, it means that the trail to the treasure room has "ducked out on you." The meaning of this DUCK symbol goes on: The word "DUCK" begins with a "D," and this "D" is telling you some very important information. The vertical line of the "D" is actually a number one (1), and the curved line part of the "D" is basically telling you that when you leave this "1" that you are to "curve around" and come right back to the "1." All of this information refers to the Alpha part of your treasure trail, or, Step One (1).
Putting this info all together, the DUCK symbol tells you "the treasure is located at the very first step of the treasure trail, at the Alpha." There are other symbols that represent the DUCK. The number four (4) is a very common one. The letter "D", as in DUCK, is the fourth (4th) letter of the alphabet. So, if you find a four on the treasure trail, or a duck, or the letter "D," then you know that you need to go back to step one, for that is where your treasure is located.
I was wrong to say that The Declaration of Independence had nothing to do with Beale Treasures' location. In fact, the information needed to locate the Beale Vault is right there in the DOI, it's just that without the knowledge of this DUCK symbol, we were ALL sunk, from the very start. Without knowing about the DUCK symbols and their meanings, we ALL over-looked a very basic, yet very important, statement.
On page 17 of the Beale Ciphers (hopefully you have the same ciphers that I do) we find the words: "The letter, or paper, so often alluded to, and marked "2" which is fully explained by the foregoing document, is as follows:"
Now, on page 18 we find the translation to this part of the ciphers. In this translation, we see where it starts out with these words: "I have deposited in the County of Bedford, about four miles from Buford's.......". Folks, the location to the Beale Vault has just been given to us. We have ALL that we need to locate this treasure. First we have the county of Bedford (which is vital information). And we also have "four miles from Buford's."
Buford's Bar, or Buford's Tavern, was set up, no doubt by the Masons, as a false trail to this Beale vault. They HAD to have this false lead known as Buford's Tavern in order to cover-up the fact that Buford's is actually an abbreviation for Buffalo Roads. BUFO is an abbreviation for BUFFALO. RDS is an abbreviation for ROADS. Put BUFO and RDS together and you get BUFORDS, Buffalo Roads (known today as Forks of Buffalo).
Now we take these words: "four" miles. Again, "4" is the DUCK symbol that tells us that the treasure is at the first step of the treasure trail. Now, allow me to state what's truly being said, after decoding the cipher, about the location of Beale's Vault: The original cipher states "I have deposited in the county of Bedford, about four miles from Buford's....."
Here's what it says when you decipher the codes: "I have deposited a treasure in the County of Bedford, and you will find this treasure vault at the first step of the treasure trail, and that first step is at Buffalo Roads."
This Buffalo Roads, or Forks of Buffalo, has no doubt gone through many construction projects in order to upgrade the roads. So, the fact is, this treasure vault may have been looted already.
While the first step of this treasure trail is where the vault is/was located, the treasure trail goes on, taking you into The George Washington National Forest. And it's very possible that there is another treasure vault located in this forest. For a better explanation of this possibility, go to the General Treasure Hunting part of this forum and read my post titled: "ONE Treasure Trail With TWO Treasure Sites." (or something like that)
