Old County maps found on-line are a great way to find treasure vaults in your county. I look for the maps that were made in the late 1800's or earlier.
I have an original map of my county, a wall map that was made in 1883, and when hung on the wall this map measures a little over four feet wide and a little over five feet high. I have been studying this map, looking for the seven treasure rooms that exist in my county.
It is the courthouse in my town that has the "clues" to these seven treasure vaults, and this wall map is helping out tremendously in locating all seven. In other words, the wall map is confirming the information that is carved into the Illinois lime-stone that the building is made of. And here are a few of the symbols, and their interpretations, that have come-to-light in deciphering this wall map.
The number "78." The second treasure vault (the first treasure vault is located UNDER the Courthouse), but the second one was pin-pointed a year or so ago. When found on the wall map, this second site is designated with the number "78." I found this quite curious, as there are 7 owls (indicating 7 treasure vaults) on the courthouse, all of them "perched" in line and next each other, and just above and to the right of these owls the number "8" is found. The 7 owls and the number 8 are the "78" that is found on the wall map. But what does this "78" mean? I have to admit that my interpretation of this number 78 is in the developing stages, but here is what I have so far. The numbers 7 and 8 are also the letters "G" and "H." This G may be telling us that these are Masonic treasure rooms, that is ALREADY a given, so that is not the entire message. But what I need is for the wall map to "guide me" to the courthouse, since it is the Alpha for all seven treasure vaults. The G and H can represent the words "Government House," known today as a Courthouse. Many people might leave it at that as proof, but not me. You see, on the wall map, you are given the appoximate location of this second treasure vault (78) but, you need to go back to the courthouse and follow the treasure trail to this "approximate area" in order to pin-point the exact location of this vault (unless you're skilled enough at deciphering and understand that you CAN, with the proper knowledge, pick up a treasure trail at ANY point of that trail and go on to find the treasure room. for example, a skilled Freemason, who has the knowledge of this coded system (a sentinel) can just look at the wall map, see the "78" and go to that area shown on the map and within a few minutes, locate that vault).
On this wall map I have noticed another thing. As always, these vaults are located along creeks and rivers (except for the one UNDER the courthouse). Using creeks and rivers allows for water-traps, but it also ensures that trees and boulders/rocks won't be moved, that these water-ways will stay "as they are."
For the most part, this remains true to this day. Which is GOOD. Let me explain. I had located two other vaults in areas that were a few miles from the courthouse, both are along creeks. When I received the wall map and began to study this map, one of the first things I did was to go to these areas of "known" vault locations, to see what the map had to "say" about this areas. Here's what I found.
When making the wall map, the cartographer labeled all creeks and rivers (no problem, they're supposed to) but when it came to creeks that had treasure vault locations, the word "creek" was different. More specifically, the letter "C" in the word Creek was different.
The number "7" is an owl sign, a treasure vault sign. It has other meanings, but when searching for accumulation rooms and finding the DUCK and the BELL and the "7" on the same trail, then know, for a fact, that this "7" means TREASURE VAULT, ACCUMULATION ROOM, etc.. Now, going back to the "C" in Creek: what the cartographer had done to the word "CREEK" when trying to show you that a treasure room WILL BE FOUND along that CREEK, was that he took the "C" and added a "7" to it, making the "C" become a "G". ALL of the creeks that have a treasure room along them are spelled "GREEK." Looking at the other "normal" creeks, they are spelled correctly. IT IS ONLY THE CREEKS THAT HAVE A TREASURE ROOM THAT ARE SPELLED 'GREEK." Again, this "C" becomes a "G" by adding the "7" to it.
Now, going back to my original paragraph concerning "Government House." The number "78" can be expressed in the treasure codes as GH. But, knowing that this "G" is a "C" with the "7" added, then we just "remove" this "7" and come up with the "CH," or, Court House. NOW we take the seven removed from the "G" and know that we are being told of the VERY FIRST TREASURE VAULT, which lies under the Court House, which takes us to not only the Courthouse, but also to the Alpha for the information that leads to the seven treasure vaults that are spead out over Shelby County, Iowa.
One more interesting fact is the words "COURT" and "HOUSE", when each letter of each word is given its numerical value and added up, COURT=77 and HOUSE=68. The second number from each word comes to "78." So you have "8776."
The "8" is a "tunnel" symbol (H). The two 7's are telling you about a fairly large treasure accumulation (double owl symbol), and the "6" is telling you that this room is death-trapped, and the two words that these numbers came from (Court House) are telling you where this treasure vault is located. Putting it all together we get: "There is a treasure room with much treasure, under the Court House, that is connected by tunnels, and death traps WILL be found." These tunnels from this treasure room under the Court House in Harlan, Iowa, connect to the old Shelby County Bank, which is just across the street from the Court House, as well as to other "businesses" around the square.
Like I stated, this is all still preliminary, but what I have told you is true, it's just not complete.
Those old County maps. Find 'em and copy 'em. In fact, your County Courthouse probably has an old wall map like the one that I have. See if you can get it and copy it. You may not find the "78" on your map, but all that that means is that your courthouse is NOT the Alpha, like the Courthouse in Shelby County, Iowa.
