Yo! Rebel here: Checked ground today... frozen 'bout 1 '' down... need "digger" (@ $ 10,000 a "pop"... ) Hunters still out there... Recken I'll have to be yer "Intelligence" ( "man on da ground"... ). ANYWAY... good idea to "pool" info & resources... Beale, can u coordinate?

Yo! Rebel here: ;D I thank u for yer input... sorta know the "frustrations" u feel... I ALSO "see" BIG $$$$$ coming... we MAY need to set up a "non-profit" corporation... get grants/"seed money" to invest in da QUEST... pour what is found, back into the QUEST CORPORATION, dunno... For ME, the FUN is in da search/quest... finding da treasure WOULD be NICE... as well as da $$$$$$ ! HA! SO! MAYBE... in 2006...

Yo! Rebel here: Thanks Beale... "The Voice" woke me up at 4:30 am (usually, I get up at 7:00 am); sezs ... "GET UP, AND WRITE!" HA! It has happened before... AND... I can NEVER go back to sleep... SO! Instead of teaching ONE young 'un to do what ye did... how about a class-room of em? U live near da border of N.C. & Va. COULD be Quest Corporation University... to do Research (of Treasures)... Recovery (of Treasures)... "How to" stuff... "What to use" stuff... U have 20 + years of doing this... LOTS of Info; still more on da "Net"... Get it all organized... write a book or two... etc. etc. don't have my "notes" in front of me... It would be like a "regular" university with "research", books and classes... U could do it thru yer local community college... or one in N. C. AND! U DO NOT need a TEACHING DEGREE! HA! TOO EASY! ;D

Albert' I've been in a few Dowsing competitions myself with pretty good results but the hunt area was a lot smaller than what you are talking about. If anything at all is buried where you say, i would assume that you will be instantly rich and famous and won't need any more grub steaks. Ha! But it seems your already famous so you just need to accomplish the later. Paul Henson was a famous writer but i think he was rich in a lot of other ways because he enjoyed treasure hunting and writing the stories that so many have enjoyed reading. His research papers are still selling like hot-cakes

Yo! Rebel here: ;D (Drinking my "High-Test" Coffee; decaf. is for...); HA! Beale, don't worry about being unpublished... ALL of yer "unpublished" stuff could be "saved" for the massive "Tome" to come... HA! My wife also has an Unpublished Work (NOT on Treasure Hunting... after SIX "rewrites"... if u know what I mean... ...) ANYWAY... My thinking is to get this "baby" (Quest Corporation) as an "On-Line" Entity as a "Non-Profit" (need a BOARD OF DIRECTORS for a 501 (C) (3)) OR we can go "For-Profits" with $$$$ Investors... tnen ya gotta have "Stock-Holders", etc. etc... AND... IRS and OTHERS want a "piece".... HA!

The first time i met paul he said where do you live? I told him and he gave me a treasure story near where where i live. The man was a walking vault of treasure stories just like you i believe. The last time i saw him i asked how did you get off those smokes? He said he kept cinnamon candy in his mouth all the time. So theres your cure for smoking! These doctors don't know crap!

Albert, OK i'm in the posting mode! What if i can get some of the best treasure hunters in the U.S. to come to Virginia and look for the Beale treasure with you? Could you work a deal with the Discovery Channel to film it? This would be a plus for the hunters! We're all gettin old and i'm gettin tired of foolin with this Beale crap! If i have to i'll buy the gas for the people i know! Maybe we can all get a little more famous if not any richer!

Yo! Rebel here: ;D (On my 4th cuppa "joe"...) Actually, u r NOT of the the "Dummies"... RockHound did u a "favour"... using "discernment"... he is saying... go the route of SELF-PUBLISHING... there r ALL kinds of "soft-ware" out there to do CD "write-ups" of yer books/ideas... sorta like Peter did with his "Faction" (Fiction based on "facts"...) NOW IS THE TIME ("down-time"... ) I would certainly read good "FACTIONS" on these treasures... sorta like FOLK-LORE, etc... Swift Mines legends of Wise County, Va. is VERY GOOD example (do engine search of THE LEGENDS OF SWIFT'S SILVER MINES... ) or check: www.rootweb,com/~vawise/SilverMine/SwiftsSilverMine.html ;D ;D

Albert, you have a wealth of information locked away in that brain of yours and it will, unfortunately, perish along with you unless you set it all down on paper. If you are able to at least document your experiences then I'm sure I wouldn't be the only one who would be interested enough to part with a few bucks for the privilege of reading them! What I'm saying is, if you feel you are capable of putting together some document or manuscript then why not? If hunting is out of the question then surely writing about your experiences might be the next best thing. I don't know you very well, just here on the board and through email, but already I have an interest in what makes you tick. I have absolutely no doubt that anything you write regarding treasure hunting (Beale or otherwise) would make extremely interesting reading.
As to the pic I posted, I simply searched Google.com for a similar pic, saved it, modified the text in Paintshop Pro, then uploaded it to my free website courtesy of Geocities.com! I then posted the pic here using the "Insert Image" icon and typed the address. I didn't learn how to do any of that overnight, like you these were skills learned over months and years spent online doing a lot of similar stuff!
Any skill is impressive if it's one you don't have!
Your skills were learned over the course of a lifetime and shouldn't be lost if there is a way to preserve them. What do you say, do you feel like writing a treasure hunter's manual? Or perhaps even THE Treasure Hunters Manual?
Give it some thought,
Gordon

Yo! Rebel here: ;D I agree with RockHound on this... (playing "Clan-an-Drumma" in background...) Beale, u already know a lot in using the "puter"... and a GHOSTwriter is GREAT idea; I think we already have "ghosts" helping us along in treasure hunting... we just gotta get "the Raven guy" as GHOST-WRITER... HA! E.A.P. had a "flair" with words, didn't he? Ah Well! HAPPY X-Mas to all... and to all... (Wassail - HOT...) "Here. to 2006!"

Turtle Head Rock (State Park will be closed for New Year's...). The Beech Tree, the OLD Log Cabin... the OLD wells... the two "MOUNDS" with trees on top, road running through 'em... the OLD Bean Pots... the Drill Holes... Goose Creek... etc., etc. will have to wait til @ March, 2006. We can talk about Marshall Plantation (OR I can show u Turkey Foot Road, Turkey Toe Road, Old Palntation Road...). I will also share with u, my theory of Beale Treasure/KGC Connection... drink LOTS of "High Test" Coffee ( I will...). HA! HA! HA! LET 'EM EAT CAKE!!!! ;D
