Yo! Rebel here: ;D Continuing the Dooley Bros. story... it seems that they may have eventually made it up to upper Goose Creek Valley, to bury the "Super"... Beale, any luck on that yet?

Yo! Rebel here: ;D Yep on Gen. Early & Gen. Hunter... Gen. Early was from Franklin County (SOUTH of Bedford County), AND... KNEW these hills according to "stories"... that is why he was sent after Gen. Hunter; AND... Buford Gap was used for the majority of Yanks retreating to fight another day... another place... some Yanks went back up today's Rt. 43... NORTH to Peaks of Otter, over into the next county... SO! Buford Gap just may have some caches, also Rt. 43 NORTH... Dunno...

Yo! Rebel here: Did "field research", today... above "old Moneta", near Goose Creek (South) in Bedford County, I have on the ground: TWO rectangular (@ 6' X 4') "graves"; weird BECAUSE, no grass is growing on 'em; almost like it is radio-active or devil-cursed ground... also near one is a @ 4' X 4' square,; no grass on it, either. Has ANYONE seen anything like that?
