"I have buried in the county of Bedford four miles from Bufords in an excavation or vault eight feet below the surface of the SNOW!" I guess no one is digging now!!!!!!! This is one of the few times I will say that I am glad I am in Michigan ;D

Hi treasure1822,
I may lose power in the middle of this message. This weather is for the birds and I have been feeding them. I have shoveled about ten railcars of snow and this is just around my house and my 50 ft driveway. To make things worst our power has been off for over 24 hours and has recently come back on. Even DIRECTV does not work. Maybe you will get this message and maybe it will get snowed out of the air before it gets there. I have really had enough and I think they are reporting more on the way for this Tuesday Night. My shoveled has broken and cracks everywhere and I fell and had to drive the shovel handle part in the ground to break my fall breaking the end-------all I have left is the shaft and a badly cracked shovel. I sure hope I can buy another before Tuesday. Had to cook on a propane camping stove this morning and heated my mobile home with kerosene heater last night. Even had to use a brand new heater for my old neighbor and friend who is 87 years old. Her children did not even check on her last night. I believe she would have frozen to death without the heater------she said it got cold with the heater. I asked her did she turn it up as I asked her to do and she no. I also told her to call anytime and I would help or assist but I got no call. Tried to get more kerosene today as they said our power would not be restored until this coming Tuesday Night, guess what all power was off to 28,000 in the county and the only station with power had people lined up----------about like another Haiti earthquake.
Oh well life goes on and we will get the Beale Treasure dug up this summer. The landowner I have been dealing with for the past three years said I could come back up this April--------we will see.
I had a request from a partner of my to decipher three numbers which he read me over the phone he said it would lead to a KGC cache. The numbers were 3 19 and 1. I figured it out before I went to bed in about twenty minutes. Does anyone know what these three numbers mean?

You are right kydave, I was a little slow. I just never thought of the letter count to start with. Since you got this so quickly maybe you can help with the next part to the puzzle that leads to the CSA Cache?
DBIBMI-FBS-POD-TDPPOFS-CPCP-TDPPOFS-DPOUBJOJOS
There is more but this is the beginning any thoughts on decipherment?
The fourth and sixth word are the same?

Thanks for the Sunday morning headache! Ha! First word probably is wrong,? "Visits and was carried" "Papa carried Grandpapa's ". Didn't really spend enough time. It would have to be tied to the rest of the message to see if it fits in i think. The longer the message the better.

Beale,
Are these letters taken from ciphers #1 and #3?

treasure1822, No these ciphers are from a KGC Code. Sorry if I have posted them on the wrong thread. Did not intend to mess up your thread just something I wanted to find out. kydave, I don't know if that would have anything revelant to a KGC Cache. Here is a little more which is all that I have right now. DBIBMI-FBS-POD-TDPPOFS-CPCP-TDPPOFS-DPOUBJOJOS-MJNQ this "Q" could be a "G"-MFUFMJHIT-CSFHBF Also the spaces between the letters could be another letter and the spaces may not be where one word ends and another begins. Maybe we should try the 3 19 1 on the spin wheel cipher of the CSA Government that Jefferson Davis had with him when he was captured? Good Luck. Here are some words that may be relevant don't know?/ Benjamin Arthur, Pinckneyville, Ferry, Broad River, Lockhart, upstream, downstream, and of course Jefferson Davis, treasure and other words I can not think of? ?

kydave, I worked the last thirty minutes on this cipher code and I was successful in breaking it. I am going to try and get the rest of the ciphers as this only gets you to one turning point and a direction for the second but not the distance. I have been to where this cipher is leading to and I believe I know the area of the cache---------if I only had the rest of the ciphers I would know for sure.
For your pleasure for helping me to work on this here is one of the words which is actually two of the words the fourth and the sixth.
TDPPOFS is Chester

Guess i wasn't paying attention! Could be the snowblind effect here! I stand corrected! C.S.A. could hit a Yankee Groundhog at 400 yards with a good Enfield!

There are five known CSA SS cipher wheels known to exist today. If someone should find one of these what would it be worth?

I would think it would be worth enough that you should take "Sealed Bids" or maybe run thru one of those big Auctions where they sell high dollar items.
