Thanks for joining in Tr! We need you here, Come back as often as you can! Almost everybody that make Post's here have different opinions about the story and breaking the codes so do not feel intimated. After 40 years i still have an interest but don't seem to find the time for the pencil work.

;D This research is getting REAL interesting, again. We live in Upper NorthWest Lynchburg, Va./Upper NorthEast Bedford County, Va., near Abert, Va. on the James River. "Missouri Diary" stated SOMETHING was buried/deposited in a cave above Abert, Va., SOUTH of the James River; went on OLD TRENT FERRY ROAD, a short distance... ONE-lane paved road. Found OLD Abert Road, went down a short distance... NOW, privately owned. HA! "MD" stated the "treasure was later removed to Missouri...", BUT! IF... it was REALLY "connected" to the CSA TREASURY VMI helped "reconstruct" the SOUTH (rebuilding/building bridges, etc.) and VMI "cadets"/ex-REBELS COULD have moved the "SUPER" nearby... VMI SIGMA NU.

Rebel, I would not waste my time on Abert's Cave unless you research the property owners to see if TJB actually purchased the property. There is a bunch of stories coming out of that area folks trying to make their property values go up. I am sorry to say you have been swindled?

;D Thank you, for your concern, beale... HAVEN'T been swindled, NOT gonna buy the property, and DON'T remember ANYTHING, about TJB buying the cave, etc. Just gonna see if it is actually there, look around IF... it is; got a "local" to go with me... well-known, & respected by the other "locals". COPS in Lynchburg, and DEPUTIES in Bedford County ALSO know me "on sight", since wife & I took their POLICE/SHERIFF CITIZEN ACADEMIES; (SINGING... "WE ARE FAMILY!!" Boogie, Boogie). ;D

Speaking of "Caves", guess the Cave on Thomas Jefferson's property with 34 caverns is out of the question? Ha! Forgot exactly where it is, Popular Forrest maybe?

Yep think thats where i read about it being come to think of it! Like having an 1800's bank vault right on your own property! Betcha theres something hidden in there somewhere! I never seem to be on the Treasure coast when i should be! Knife collectors see my Post in General Chit Chat, like to get something started there!

;D HA! TJ owned LOTS of land in those days, as a "will" kinda thing from his father Peter, and MOSTLY in THIS area, from father-in-law; we NOW live on land PREVIOUSLY owned by TJ, which DOES include Poplar Forest, over to Natural Bridge. BIG area, with LOTS of mountains, caves... LAWD GAWD A'MIGHTY!
