Beale, That is so interesting, figured you knew the answer to my question. A "black" lady with a "Beale" family Bible? That seems to go back to what the "Indian" told me about Beale being the illigitimate son of a certian "President"! Wonder what ever happened to that Bible and key? Next time i go down to Sebastian i'm gonna try and find out! Waiting on the next hurricane now, ha! I'm gonna drive a $50,000 truck right in the middle of it! That's treasure hunting i guess! Anyway sounds like you guys are getting a little closer all the time. Good Luck

Beale, Wonder what kind of research Mel did to make him decide that the Mill was the place to dig? Sure a likely spot, but was there more to it than that? Just finished watching "National Treasure" for the third time, very interesting movie. Bet they got some of their idea's from us didn't they?

Hey Girl, First thing would be to get a copy of the story and code numbers with the Declaration of Independence. Read as many of the past posts on this forum that you can. Then your own your own to think up as many ideas as you can imagine, keeping in mind that most of them have already been tried and failed to unlock the codes. You can probably find most of the info online or at the Lynchburg library i hear. Feel free to ask or discuss any ideas on this forum and i'm sure someone will reply. Happy Hunting!

Hey Rebel, Don't have time to do any research right now because of death in family but here are some things i already know. Just read whereWilliam Friedman the cryptologist that worked on the beale ciphers has 30 years of research and correspondence with other treasure hunters is filed away in a box at the Va. Military Institute's George C. Marshall Library and Archives which i'm sure Albert already knew. Also the sheriffs name that was protecting Jesse James was A. D. Pence that had a farm at Samuels ky just outside of Bardstown. A bank was robbed out west somewhere and it was in the newspaper that Jesse was responsible although he was here at the time and made him mad so he took a diamond ring and etched his name and the date on a window in the house. This glass was removed latter on someone thinking that it was of value. I don't know about the mason thing yet. The bank of Russelville ky he did rob sometime while in the area. Not far from there is a monument erected for the "father of our country" Jeff Davis since he was born there and lived nearby and attended college until 1824 so that kinda puts him and Jesse in the same area. The sheriff and Jesse were mentioned to be under the pretense of hunting alot, sound familar? So i would say the sheriff was helping him stay incognito. Just some things you probably won't find online. later bryoung132hodgenvilleky3rd Mel Hodgens relatives iam4corsair that put out the latest book on the beale solution, small world

Albert, hope you got my email but just getting online to get my mind off other things. Anyway guess you have heard the story about some family members finding the bible with the "key" in it, don't know if its true or not. Anyway the name of the town you mentioned is similar to the name of the town i live in and jesse james and others have been here, as a matter of fact i metal detected one of his camping places and didn't find anything except a rusty knife but i really didn't do a very good search which i should have done. He was hanging out with the local sheriff around here in a place called Samuels ky. As a matter of fact again theres bullet holes in a local tavern that are still there for the public to view. Get back latter on the names you mentioned. kydav58@aol.com

Albert, Tommy Veals was supposed to have found one of these triangle shaped rocks down around Jellico Tenn. somewhere on Pine Mt. I'm not sure if this is another location or the one your talking about. The people down there think this is where one of the Swift mines is located. I do know if you ever get close to a treasure and can't pinpoint it Tommy is probably your best bet to take along with you.

Andy you may be right about the site you went to i don't think i've seen that one and i don't see any comments posted about it. The only person i've heard talk of using a projector is Tomm that makes post here once in a while and i don't think he has a website so maybe your right the website is also a hoax!

Mrs. Henson also has treasure related research , 20 pages on each state for only five dollars per state that's also a great buy. As a matter of fact i told her the info she's selling was way under priced. A haircut cost twice that. Mr. Henson was a great writer and dedicated treasure hunter and is missed by a lot of people i'm sure.

Albert you wanted us to post so that's what i'm doing. I've had this code since i was 18 and now i'm 58 and i've all but given up on it. I spend more time at this website than i do trying trying to unravel the mystery so that's not much. But i still enjoy hearing other peoples ideas and it's something to play around with in the winter months. I can remember when you were really gung-ho, correct me if i'm wrong but you said on national tv that you would never stop searching for the Beale treasure. Ha knew one guy after 30 years threw his copy in the garbage can and slammed the lid only to dig it back out before the truck came by and said what else have i got to think about that's this much fun so there you go!

Andy the guy that has the site visits here once in a while maybe he will answer all your questions. I think it's the same guy anyway. Most of us have been leaving messages about the Beale deal and sharing info with the hope that one or all of us can come up with the key.

Time for constructive criticism about this forum. I personaly dont' like having to dig out the 11 digit password i have to use to log on because it's so long i can't remember it. So as you have probably noticed it's much easier to just change your name a little and sign on as a guest. Something different needs to be done if Rock wants people to log in.
