;D Did a "quick-scan" of Chapt. 4... NOTHING remarkable about "treasure"... BUT! Found out that the trip to L'burg included Maj. Reid. AJ & Maj. Reid stayed OVERNIGHT at Maj. Reid's father's house, near L'burg; he DID NOT mention TJ, and Maj. Reid, went to DC with AJ in 1815, AFTER the "party" in L'burg. Reid's wife name was Sophia ... they had @ TWO small children in 1815. Reid name was ALSO spelled... READE. There is a mention of a great-grand daughter, I think... ENOUGH, for now.

rebel,
Could you send me the link to read about Reid? It sounds interesting. I would like to read anything by someone that lived in the area before, during and after the treasure was buried.

Sorry folks, I haven't posted any lately. There is nothing I can do on the Beale Treasure except research. I have to wait until deer season is over and that will take until at least February.
rebel, I found the book written by John Reid in 1817 and there have been 14 editions since. I am trying to get a copy on interlibrary loan. Most I saw cost over $60. so I will wait to read a free copy.
Been doing other research on another treasure, a Civil War Payroll. Everything looks promising except the 450 mile drive to hunt for it. I have a general location but that isn't much to go on unless you live there. I will keep researching maybe I can pinpoint and go get it. It would be worth as much or more than the Beale Treasure since it is in coins. Talk to everyone later. Albert

Does any treasure hunter have underwater equipment and detectors to help me search for the Beale Treasure?

The Beale Treasure will be found by RTEL, according to Sylvia Browne. This was predicted five years ago. The reason there is a delay is the finder of the Beale Treasure, also has to defeat the Anti-Christ. Fate, has a way of fixing everything, and everything, in it's own time frame.

Hello, I live in Kalamazoo Michigan and I have been interested in the Beale Treasure for about 18 years. I decided to start trying to solve the codes back in October of 2008 due to current economic conditions. All I had to loose was time. Well I believe that I do have it figured out and I am looking for a partner to help get it. I had went as far as to contact Joshua Gates from "Destination Truth" and see if the network that he worked for would sponsor the quest. I have the "answers" to the questions which will locate the treasure but no way of getting to it.

Rebel,
I feel that you are questioning my sincerity about the Beale Treasure. How long have you been looking for this treasure in Bedford county,VA. You know that people have been looking for this treasure for 124 years at least. The reason it has not been found is that everyone is believing what they read and yet they don't understand it. You have to understand who Thomas Jefferson Beale was and who Robert Morriss was. I will give you a clue they are one in the same person..... Ward did not solve cipher #2 because he would have mentioned that word #480 thru #489 was written twice to make sence of #2. Robert Morriss wrote the ciphers. And I know who Morriss is. "Thomas Jefferson" Beale is the clue to solve the second cipher. I said before that I have the answers I just can not get it.

;D t 1822, NOT doubting yer sincerity; and I know that Michigan was "hit hard" by the RECESSION... especially, if you were in the auto manufacturing biz. Been up there, and was AMAZED at the BIG biz up there... Detroit, Dearborn, etc. ANYWAY, I mentioned Geraldo, because he has FOX News, etc. behind him; he even did a "piece" about a mobster's treasure vault, once... can't re- member who. I REALLY don't look for the B.T.; just do "research" on it... and the CSA Treasury/Assets, in this area of Lynchburg, Va. & Bedford County, Va. tho, I AM expanding my "research" in- to Buchanon County, Rockbridge County, and Roanoke County in VIRGINIA.
