Hey Beale your at work early! Yep i'm trying out a new Minelab CTX3030' expensive but it does a good job! Hope all your work pays off soon ! Saw a TV show Meltzer "Decoded" where they were hunting in Danville for the CSA loot. Maybe they will talk to you about it someday and get some "fame" if not fortune anyway. Good luck friend!

Hey Reb, Yep Knob Creek as Beale said is just over the hill and said to be his "boyhood home" about 10 miles from his birthplace in Hodgenvile. I worked with the Archaeologist one winter on a dig there which turned up nothing! I have dug some of Morgan's troops bullets at Elizabethtown where they attacked and burned the railroad trestles about 25 miles from me. Good to hear from you and Beale keep up the good work! Signing ha! ha!

Hey Beale, Yeah i'm only 20 miles from Lincoln's birthplace. Finally figured out you won't find any shipwreck stuff unless there's a storm in Fla. I am taking your advice on local hunting. Lately i've been researching one of the old Pioneer Forts where the Indians killed everybody and hid their valuables nearby. Luck to you too!

Yep me too! Had a hole in my sewer line and found the exact spot to dig. Been in a few contest where silver dollars were hidden in the woods and i always found at least one. The old timers say it only works for "need" and never will work for "greed". Guess thats why it's hard to find valuables ha! Also seems to work better early in the morning when you are rested and not tired for some reason. i believe anybody can find water using a willow or peach limb you really get a hard pull on that. "Well diggers" still use it all the time. Tried it once on a Jesse James Campsite so i was told. The rods crossed and i marked the spot then went back to the truck and got my metal detector and dug up a real old hunting knife. Didn't find anything else so i guess maybe sometimes it works and sometimes it don't. Then again maybe there wasn't anything there to find.

Wonder whatever happened to "Ajax"? Thought he was supposed to have a solution to the Code Papers at one time?
